New Town Square Opening in The Villages: What Residents Need to Know
The Villages is set to welcome its newest town square this spring, marking another milestone in the community's continued growth. Located just north of County Road 466A, the new development promises to bring over 30 shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues to an area that has seen rapid residential expansion over the past two years.
According to the developer, the town square will feature a central fountain plaza surrounded by covered walkways, making it comfortable for year-round outdoor dining and socializing. Nightly live entertainment will follow the same format that has made Spanish Springs and Brownwood Paddock Square so popular among residents and visitors alike.
Several well-known local businesses have already signed leases, including a satellite location of Magnolia's Southern Kitchen and a new outpost of The Porch Cafe. The square will also feature a dedicated golf cart parking area with charging stations, a first for any Villages town square.
Grand opening festivities are planned for late April and will include a weekend of live music, food tastings, and ribbon-cutting ceremonies. Residents can sign up for email updates on the official Villages website to stay informed about specific dates and participating businesses.
